My quick conversation with Green Party gubernatorial candidate Howie Hawkins, who contrasted his party’s approach to that of the Working Families Party he says they’ve already surpassed:
“We don’t have the problems they do because we know what we stand for and that’s what we run on,” said Hawkins. “I think that trying to be an influence on the Democratic party rather than an independent working class party is what puts them in that bind.”
